About this saree
A fitted stretch petticoat with a wide waistband, mermaid-cut so it follows the leg and then flares below the knee. It removes the bulk of a drawstring at the waist, which matters if your saree is heavy or your blouse is short.

Between two sizes? Take the larger one. There is seam allowance inside to take a garment in, but far less to let one out.
What we would tell you in the shop
Fitted through the thigh. It is comfortable but it is not loose, and it does not suit a very full traditional pleat count.
Styling: Nude and deep brown both disappear under a sheer saree better than white does.
Care and storage
Hand wash cold. Do not tumble dry or iron.
- Store folded in a breathable cotton or muslin bag, never in plastic — trapped damp is what yellows silk.
- Refold along different lines once a year so permanent creases do not set into the same place.
- Blot spills, never rub. Rubbing lifts the surface fibres and leaves a dull patch.
